Book List

Recommended reading to find success and become wealthy.

Over the course of the last year I began taking my continuing education very seriously. I’ve realized that all the wealth of knowledge in the world, for the past 6.5 thousand years, has been written down and recorded. As individuals, in this day and age, we have access to all of that knowledge, experience, and wisdom.

Just think of how many mistakes people have committed over and over and over, that would be avoidable if we just learned from those who have gone before us! And what about success? What about the incredible amount of people who have discovered the secrets to success and who have written down their experiences for us to learn from and copy? If I’ve learned one thing, it’s that Success leaves clues. If we do what wealthy people do, we can become wealthy. If we do what Righteous people do, we can become Righteous. If we do what successful, determined, and motivated people do, we can become those things.

That is why I have devoted a lot of my time to reading new books throughout the course of this year and to gaining new personal knowledge.
Brian Tracy makes a note that if you wake up and read 20 minutes each day, you can get the equivalent of a college degree within a year’s time.

Ask any successful business man, and they will tell you that they read, read, and read. They find mentors through the books that they read and the authors they follow. The best ideas of our time are shared through books. So below is a list of all of the books I have been reading this year, the newest at the top of the list. No doubt the overall focus of these is on business, marketing, and personal development at this time in my life.

Eat That Frog: Brian Tracy
Perhaps one of the best books there is on time-management.

The Bible
I consistently read from this and have throughout my life. When I am doing well I read a couple of chapters a day and meditate on the Word to let God work in my life, increasing my love for Him, love for myself, and love for others.

The Science of Getting Rich: W.D. Wattles
A great summation of the road to success. There is some amazing insight into this book. While I don’t personally agree with every part of it on the surface, if you dig in deep and find the real meaning for yourself you will no doubt find this book incredibly useful and inspiring.

Think and Grow Rich: Napoleon Hill
Every successful person I have followed has recommended this book. There is a reason why.

Jab Jab Jab Right Hook: Gary Vaynerchuk
Learning all there is to know about social media. I didn’t honestly like this book very much. It felt like Gary wrote it just to write a book, but there was definitely some valuable information on marketing in the book and it’s worth getting though.

The Greatest Salesman in the World: Og Mandino
Amazing story.

The Richest Man in Babylon: George Samuel Clason
This is an absolute Must Read.

The Day That Turns Your Life Around: Jim Rohn
Take Charge of Your Life: Jim Rohn

How to Have Your Best Year Ever: Jim Rohn

Cultivating an Unshakable Character: Jim Rohn

All Marketers Are Liars: Seth Godin
Learn to tell your story.

Money, Master The Game: Tony Robbins

21 Great Ways To Start A Business: Brian Tracy

The Six Figure Second Income
If you’re at all interested in Online Marketing this is an amazing book to read.

The Power of Ambition: Jim Rohn

Other Mentions:
Four Souls:
I didn’t read it this year but I would absolutely Recommend it.

Unbroken: Lauren Hillenbrand

Alone With God: Letters from Solitary Confinement: Richard Wormbrand.

The Four Hour Work Week: Timothy Ferris
Right after reading Losing My Virginity by Richard Branson I read The Four Hour Work Week by Timothy Ferris. This book opened my eyes to so many new things with business that I had never experience before. I absolutely changed and shaped my business and helped me to increase my income by a staggering amount. This is certainly the book that has impacted my business and success the most.

Losing My Virginity: How I Survived, Had Fun, and Made A Fortune Doing Business My Way: Richard Branson
This is the book that started it all for me. It may have been the first “Business” book I’d ever ready. It absolutely blew me away and inspired me to do business like never before.
